# Your Hosted Handbook

> Give your white-label customers a full help handbook under your brand, on your own domain, with your screenshots and in up to six languages.

Your customers will need help. Your platform can link to documentation in two ways:

* **Your own docs site**: you write and host it yourself, and your platform links to it.
* **A hosted handbook**: AIWA hosts a complete handbook for your platform, written under your brand name.

Our own documentation never appears under your brand.

## Linking Your Own Docs

In the **Branding** tab, enter your **Documentation URL**, for example `https://docs.yourbrand.com`.

The account menu and the Templates page on your platform then link there. If you leave it blank, those links stay hidden.

## The Hosted Handbook

With a hosted handbook, your customers get a full guide to building on your platform, with your name on every page. It covers getting started, building, integrations, publishing, mobile export, teams and troubleshooting.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The hosted handbook is switched on for your platform by AIWA. If you don't see a **Documentation** tab in your partner console, it isn't enabled for you yet.

### What's tailored to you

* Your brand name throughout
* Your published apps domain in examples
* Your support e-mail on the Contact Support page (set it in Branding)
* Your own credit prices: pages about AIWA's plans and prices are left out, and a credits page based on your own offers takes their place

## Your Handbook's Address

The handbook is live as soon as it's enabled, on your platform's address.

You can move it to its own subdomain, such as `docs.yourbrand.com`:

**1. Attach the domain**

In the **Documentation** tab, enter the subdomain.

**2. Add the DNS records**

Add the records shown at your DNS provider. The page checks automatically; propagation can take a few minutes.

**3. Wait for HTTPS**

Once the DNS is set, AIWA secures the domain. It goes live as soon as it's secure, usually within a few minutes.

Once it's live, your own domain becomes the handbook's main address.

## Use Your Own Screenshots

Every screenshot in the handbook starts as a plain, unbranded image.

In the **Documentation** tab, you can replace any of them with your own:

* **Upload yours** to replace an image
* **Replace** an image you've already changed
* **Use the default** to go back to the plain image

Nothing here is required. Any image you leave alone stays as the unbranded default.

## Languages

The hosted handbook is available in six languages:

| Code | Language |
| - | - |
| `en` | English |
| `fr` | French |
| `es` | Spanish |
| `nl` | Dutch |
| `de` | German (formal, *Sie*) |
| `de-informal` | German (informal, *du*) |

In the **Documentation** tab:

1. Tick the languages you want to offer.
2. Choose a default language.
3. Select **Save languages**.

New platforms start with English only. You can turn English off once another language is the default.

### What readers see

* Readers can switch language with the language picker. Their choice is remembered, and they stay on the same page.
* The handbook does not guess from the browser's language; it uses the reader's choice or your default.
* Search works in the selected language.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Languages apply to the hosted handbook only. They don't translate the app itself or your partner console.

## Next: Troubleshooting

That's the end of the White Label section. Next, we'll look at troubleshooting common problems.

> Fix common problems, starting with a project that seems stuck generating.
